Privacy Policy
Effective October 25, 2026
This policy explains how bewst handles information when you create an account, sign in, and use connected Snapchat accounts. For privacy questions and requests, contact [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, a password hash, and the time and version of your signup agreement.
- Security information: your signup IP address and browser user-agent string, plus the IP address, user-agent string, and time of your latest successful sign-in. A user-agent string describes browser and operating-system software; it is not a verified device identity.
- Connected-account information: Snapchat account identifiers, encrypted saved login sessions, verification details used to connect, and cached friend lists.
- Service activity: run settings, selected recipients, confirmed-send counts, errors, connection traffic totals, balances, payments recorded by the service, and billing records.
We use session cookies to maintain your sign-in and protect form submissions. Cloudflare Turnstile performs browser security checks during signup and sign-in and receives information needed for those checks.
How we use information
We use these details to provide accounts and requested runs, maintain balances, verify access, prevent abuse, investigate security problems, and troubleshoot failures. We do not use the signup and latest-login records to build advertising profiles. Security collection continues regardless of a browser’s Do Not Track setting.
The recorded IP address is the network address available to our server. Proxies, VPNs, or gateways may affect it. Browser information can be modified by the sender and is not proof of who used an account.
We use signup IP addresses to limit additional registrations from the same connection. We also store keyed hashes of worker-verified Snapchat usernames and available account IDs to prevent the same Snapchat account being linked to different Bewst users. These ownership records remain while the Bewst account exists, including when a saved Snapchat login is removed. An IP address or account identifier does not establish a person’s identity.
Access and service providers
Signup and latest-login details are available to authorized site administrators for security and support; they are not displayed publicly. Providers used to host the service and route its connections process information needed to operate those services. Authorized account workers use saved sessions to perform your requested Snapchat actions.
Requested Snapchat activity sends necessary account, recipient, and Snap information to Snapchat. Cloudflare processes verification information under its Privacy Policy. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or protection of legal rights.
Retention and protection
Signup security details remain attached to the account record until removed. Each successful sign-in replaces the previous latest-login IP address, browser information, and time; this feature does not keep a full login history. Older accounts may have no signup details because collection began after they were created.
Account and service records are retained while needed to provide the service. Relevant billing or security records may need to be retained to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Backups and provider records can have separate retention periods. Contact us to request deletion or ask about retained information.
Passwords and backup codes are stored as hashes. Authenticator setup secrets and saved Snapchat sessions are encrypted. Email changes use short-lived verification codes sent through the configured email provider. Password recovery uses an expiring, single-use email link, retains any enabled two-factor protection, and signs out existing sessions after a successful reset. Recovery tokens are stored as keyed hashes. Signup IP addresses and user-agent strings are stored in the account database and rely on server and administrator access controls for protection. No system can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Account settings lets you change your password, verify a new sign-in email when outgoing mail is available, enable authenticator-based two-factor authentication and create single-use backup codes. You can also delete your account after active work, pending top-ups and unconfirmed charges are resolved. Deletion removes your sign-in, personal account details and reusable saved credentials. Billing amounts and anonymized run counts remain under a deleted account record; existing backups and provider records can have separate retention periods. Contact support about remaining balance before deleting, as you cannot access it afterward. The server-managed administrator account has separate configuration controls.
Email [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask about available privacy rights. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Do not email passwords, Snapchat sessions, or verification codes. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any lawful retention requirements.
You can choose not to create an account or connect Snapchat accounts. Signing out ends the current sign-in but does not delete stored records. If you believe information about a child has been submitted, contact us.
Bewst Account Manager extension
The Chrome extension displays account names, recovery emails and connection-request status when you open it or press Refresh. Sign in with Bewst opens our normal website login, including any enabled two-factor check; the extension does not receive your Bewst password. It can reuse an Accounts tab or open an inactive Accounts tab to check the normal website session, so the popup works while another site is active or no Bewst tab is open. Unused new check tabs are closed when you are signed out. It does not keep a local account database. Reconnect prepares an import for your review; removal opens the selected account’s controls on Bewst and requires your confirmation there.
Only after you enter the import details, confirm ownership and press Continue to review (Prepare in older versions) does the extension read Snapchat cookies from this Chrome profile, including protected sign-in cookies, their domain, path and expiry information, and the browser user-agent string. These cookies grant account access. They are placed in the Bewst import form; pressing Connect on the website transmits them to Bewst for verification, encrypted storage and your requested Snapchat activity. Unrelated domains, known Google Analytics cookies, expired or empty cookies and unsupported partitioned cookies are excluded.
The extension has no background cookie collection, advertising, telemetry, clipboard export or persistent extension storage. It does not read your Bewst authentication cookies. Account details and prepared imports exist transiently in the popup and website form. Removing a saved login in Bewst removes its reusable saved credentials there; uninstalling the extension alone does not delete data already submitted to Bewst. Retention and provider processing follow the sections above. Our use of data accessed through Chrome extension APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
